“Wow you look stunning” Marcella says when she sees her date stand there in the living room looking more radiant than normal in her heterochromatic eyes. “Thank you” Alicia says with a warm smile on her lips and blush on her cheeks “I just wanted to go for a walk before we leave since the grounds of our home sound and smell good and I can feel the sun coming through the window on her hand “after that we can have some lunch before going to an art exposition of a friend of mine after which dinner and maybe go to dance somewhere?: she explains when her date puts takes her arm and places it in her hooked arm to which the blind woman smiles and rests her head on the herm’s shoulder once they are outside with the sun shining on the pair.
“Mmm the weather feels nice and even better now that we are finally on our date” Alicia sighs happily while they rest at the bank of the large pond with their backs resting against an old oak tree. “It is and I agree it is because of the company” Marcella smiles holding her date close to her “and who knew we would end up like this since I initially thought we’d be very good friends” she giggles. “I had the same feeling but a lot has changed during that time and here we are on our first date” Alicia sighs happily “and I couldn’t be much happier than I am right now” she tells the redhead. “Same here and the only way I could be happier is when we get married because there is no doubt in my heart that we’ll end up like that” the mutant tells the blind woman with confidence which makes her heart beat faster. “Marriage huh? I’m open to that idea for in the future; there is no need to rush it” the strawberry blond replies with a loving smile. “Some would disagree with you on that” Marcella tells her which makes them both giggle before they softly kiss one another for several minutes and then continue their walk before they return for lunch.
“Hello Alicia! It has been a while since last I saw you” the artist says with a smile who is apparently a friend of the blind sculptor. “Yes things happened and I moved to my new place after my divorce to live with a friend and things developed in ways I couldn’t even imagine” Alicia smiles at her friend who puts a comforting hand on her shoulder. “No need to feel sorry for me since things worked out even better…Marcella?” the strawberry blond shouts when she is flanked by the herm. “Hello darling” Marcella says with a smile before wrapping an arm around her date’s waist who does the same to her. “Marcella meet my friend Edmonia who is holding this exposition, Edmonia meet my date Marcella” Alicia says introducing the two of them. “Now this isn’t what I would have expected but congratulations on getting this one of a kind woman” Edmonia grins while shaking the demoness’ hand. “Oh thank you very much and I’m well aware of that feeling truly blessed from starting as friends and now I’m on a date with her” Marcella smiles warmly squeezing Alicia’s hand.
“Oh my that sounds really special” Edmonia smiles and leans in to the blind woman “it is your date but tell me all about it tomorrow” she whispers with a grins when her friend nods to this. “How do you like this exposition Marcella? I take it you’re not really an art lover or an artist?” the sculptor asks curiously. “Not in the way you are but I’m quite a musician playing several instruments” Marcella grins while looking from the sculptor to her date and then back. “She’s also quite the artist in the kitchen, her meals taste amazing and quite the highlight to all of the others as well” Alicia grins when she sees the expression on her friend’s face telling her that she will explain it soon enough before they go and have a look around a little while the friend look at them interacting. “Hmmm they do look they were made for one another, I can’t wait to hear their story” Edmonia thinks before walking to another guest.
“Oh my god he can’t be back!” lady Slug shouts in desperation while looking at the sky. “I’m afraid so and we really need the help of others to fight him” Marionette “or the Microverse will be doomed, my world has already been ruined” she tells the others who all nod as messages had already gone throughout the Microverse but no further response so far which makes them desperate. “Then let us see if we can get help from outside our spectrum” queen Esmera suggests and then looks at lady Coral “send a message for help to the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four and whoever you can think of that could help” she orders. “I will do that now my queen though it may take some time” Coral explains to which Esmera nods as she watches the message being sent.
“I love the music and vibe here even if it’s not my type of music but it sounds even better with you by my side” Marcella smiles warmly at her date with her hand resting on top of the hand while they both take a sip from their drinks.”Hehehe jazz is something that has some nice tunes and so sweet and romantic at time and I really love it” Alicia says when the guitar starts to strum a little when the singer starts to sing. “I love this song” the blind woman says when Julie London’s “I’m in the mood for love” starts to play. “May I have this dance then?” the redheaded herm says offering her hand which her date accepts and a second later they are on the dance floor slowly dancing enjoying one another’s company even after the song finishes when an Ella Fitzgerald song plays from the speakers.
“Did you see anything from that ship Phyla?” Moondragon asks Quasar/Martyr who has been staking out this strange ship for a while now. “I’ve seen two figure come on board just a second ago though I’ve got no clue who they are but it seems serious” Phyla-Vell responds “perhaps we should call in for some help just in case things are far worse than it looks now” she suggests. “Alright I think I know who to call, put a tracker on the ship and return to Titan” Heather says which Phyla did and makes her way back.
“This day was pure magic and it was all because of you” Marcella whispers sweetly after they got back home walking arm in arm going to the living room. “Thank you; do you remember that Ella song? Can you play it?” Alicia asks when she remembers the grand piano in the living room where a fire burns in the fire place. “I can and will play it if you sing it” the herm grins once the strawberry blond agrees whom she helps on top of the piano before she starts to play the tune looking lovingly at the woman lying on top of the piano looking at her. “I’m looking forward to our next date” Alicia whispers before she starts singing along the tune with a beautiful voice. “Same here, it has been nothing but magic” Marcella replies before the two of them lose themselves while making music together.
The two of them end up sitting on the couch in front of the fire place snuggling against one another as the fire crackles. “I love you Alicia Masters with all my heart and I promise you that one day we’ll get married and you’ll be my first wife” Marcella whispers sweetly which makes the woman giggles a little. “Then realize that one day I’m going to keep you to that promise” Alicia grins and then whisper “I love you too” before they start kissing deeply and passionately until the human woman falls asleep in the arms of the goddess neither of them aware of what the future will bring them.
