Just a few moments ago, Photon bee witnessed Windy bee, their friend, absolutely destroy Vicious bee in a duel. They witnessed the hurricane-spike hybrids that Windy bee sent hurling, crash into Vicious bee
Photon bee didn’t expect Windy bee to survive the first time Vicious bee made themself gifted and did… y’know…
Fortunately, Photon bee’s friend survived using that dangerous hurricane. Which is great because Photon bee was rooting for Windy bee
After the duel ended, Photon bee emerged from their hiding place. Their yellow-white colours did not hide them too well and made them stick out like a sore thumb
The dragon of light’s keen eyesight (despite having a blindfold wait that doesn’t make sense) saw the claw-gloves left behind in the crater and flew towards it
Photon bee hopped towards the claw-gloves and picked one up. Then they finally recognised it
Vicious bee always wore those gloves no matter the circumstances. It does give them an upper hand in battles, allowing them to deal extra damage whenever they scratched someone. So it was quite strange that Vicious bee would leave something so sentimental to them behind
Photon bee always heard the stories from those, who had been defeated by Vicious bee, about how those claw-gloves were one of the reasons they lost first try. They heard so much about the danger of those claw-gloves that they basically denied every request of a duel from Vicious bee, so that they could shine as radiant as always
Photon bee also never expected to be friends with Windy bee, their laugh was always considered too loud and their humour was heavily criticised. They also loved to shine as bright as possible, metaphorically and physically, and others didn’t like that. They also loved to yap about everything space and sun, which others grew tired of. Hence, they tend to spend time alone and never really admired the natural phenomenons of the world. Until Windy bee came
”I think, we do understand each other like no one else can.”
Windy bee was regarded by every other dragon as “Calm Before The Storm”—the serenity in them could be clearly seen in their scales alone, but when enraged, lighting strikes and rain pours. But for some reason, Windy bee liked Photon bee’s humour, calling it “The perfect combination of utter hilarity and utter stupidity” Photon bee is still not too sure about that comment
Despite this, Photon bee basically became the first to hear even a soft giggle from Windy bee. “Why didn’t anyone come to Pluto’s birthday party?”
”Why?”
”Because he failed to plan-et!” said Photon bee with an enthusiastic clap. Somehow, that tickled Windy bee a little, causing them to laugh softly
Over time, the two became quite close friends. Photon bee would always appear after every duel Windy bee had with Vicious bee, always spying on the duel. However, Windy bee would always discover them somehow. Since that duel was Vicious bee’s last, Photon bee had to be as stealthy as possible
But that was a failed attempt
“Photon bee? Crawling around my domain again?” a voice boomed from the sky as Photon bee studied the claw-gloves even further. Upon hearing the voice, Photon bee snapped their neck to the sky
”Aw c’mon! You caught me again!” Photon bee laughed. “Yes I was snooping around, spying on your duel.” Photon bee said as Windy bee darted from the sky
Windy bee landed on the ground oh so gracefully. Their eyes softened upon seeing their friend. “You are so funny,” they said without a hint of sarcasm, meaning that it was genuine
Photon bee giggled at that and tossed the claw-gloves into the crater. “They really are an idiot.”
Windy bee looked into the crater, eyeing it suspiciously. “They left a message.”
That was when Photon bee noticed the writing in the ground. They face-palmed with a sigh. Curse myself for having keen eyesight but horrible observation skills!
Photon bee approached the writing alongside Windy bee. “Sorry” it was written. Photon bee cringed and tried not to laugh. Their resentment towards Vicious bee was the same as Windy bee’s
“Sorry? For wasting my time? You have wasted at least four hours of my life everyday,” Windy bee rolled their eyes. Photon bee snickered at that
It was quite silent then, Photon bee took the time to admire the serenity of Windy bee’s domain. The clouds were soft and calm and the breeze was as gentle as Windy bee’s voice
The silence was broken when Windy bee said, “Y’know me, love to gossip. How about we go to the wind shrine and talk behind Vicious bee’s wings?”
Photon bee let out a bark of laugh. “Hell yeah.”
Once the two got to the wind shrine, Windy bee immediately started yapping their head off about the duel as if Photon bee hadn’t already witnessed all of it. They saved that response until the end
”Heh, I was literally already snooping around and watch the entire battle by the way.”
Windy bee shot a slit-pupil side eye at that response, and then sighed. “You’re getting too sneaky for such bright scales…” Photon bee led out a loud laugh
”Man, Vicious bee is soooooo dumb right? They barely use other tactics than those six puny ones I have seen!” Photon bee said
Windy bee giggled. “I know right? I swear even a light breeze will make them activate that gifted form, too bad the breeze will get harder when that happens.”
And they gossiped the entire day off, the laughed and giggled
”By the way, I banished Vicious bee from my realm, they are never going to snake back here,” Windy bee brought up. Photon bee’s ears perked up. “Really?”
”Maybe that’s why they wrote ‘Sorry’ in the crater. They don’t deserve my pity,” Windy bee snickered
”Good riddance. Stupid, aren’t they?” Photon bee said. Photon bee looked at the sky. “Yikes, I have to go soon, I made a promise with Music bee to babysit Baby bee, cant be breaking that now.”
”Goodbye then,” Windy bee said as Photon bee descended to the ground
Windy bee looked at the sky. “Off I go.” and off they went
