“This might not be what I’ll actually wear to the party,” Joaquin said from the other room.
The annual Avengers Halloween party was coming up and they were both ready to dress to impress.
“That’s alright, it’s good to do a test run.”
“What did you have on the list for couples costume ideas again?”
“Dean and Castiel would probably be the easiest. We should probably cross BloodyMary off the list considering Simon and Trevor are doing that. It’s so cute, they’re even making a little Rocky costume for Morris.”
“That is cute.”
“Okay, how do I look?” Joaquin asked, stepping into the room.
Shangqi was pretty sure he blue screened for a second.
Joaquin was wearing a version of his costume… only with a v shaped collar that left none of his pecks up to the imagination.
Joaquin, aptly pleased with how much his boyfriend was blushing and stammering, laughed. “Eyes up here, darling.”
“I— you— you look amazing in this.” He took a minute to collect himself. “Second question, where did you get this?”
“Oh it was for a calendar shoot. It was actually one of the first official charity things we put out. Me and Sam actually have matching ones.”
Shangqi smiled, amused. “Better than my photo history,” he muttered.
“Oh my gosh were you a model? You could totally rock it.”
“Worse. I did a stock photo shoot to make rent once.”
Joaquin pulled out his phone. “Oh well now I have to see.”
By the end they ended up both in laughter on the couch.
“Hey for what it’s worth, you make a very cute accountant.”
