   I suspect they open sourced the site knowing people would and perhaps wanting them to make alternative sites.

   Even if there might (?) have been some drama between the two sites, more options are better for everyone and the presence of them is still furthering AO3/OTW's goals indirectly. If that site can offer something AO3 doesn't, that's good for everyone.
