   Hello,

   As you can see in the budget, 67.7% of the OTW's expenses go towards maintaining the AO3. This year, that includes US$430,000 to purchase new servers, as well as US$20,000 in new equipment to increase the capacity of existing servers to handle the increase in site traffic.

   If you're interested in learning about the improvements our coders have made to AO3, check out our release notes which are published on an approximately monthly basis to share what updates AO3 has made in the last month.

            Not only is the filtering system not at ALL intuitive to reach for new users, but a PROPER filtering system, which this is not, is one that can have settings locked to an account that AUTOMATICALLY filters out tags, ratings, warnings, etc when something is searched for WITHOUT having to input everything Every Single Time.

         We're not quite sure what you mean by this, but if you're having trouble using AO3's filters, you can find some helpful guidance in unofficial guides like Your Handy Guide to AO3 Searching and Filtering or for more advanced search/filtering guidance, check out How to Use Hidden Search Operators (And Get Real Specific About It). Many users also use guides like Permablocking Specific Tags - Site Skin or Saved Filters on AO3 to customize the site to their specific needs.

         If you'd like to make a formal request about changes to how filters work on AO3, contact Support as they handle feature requests in addition to providing technical support to AO3's users.
