James Madison and Aaron Burr weren't that close in high school. They were apart of different cliques (James was a popular kid and Aaron was a loner kid) but now, they shared a college dorm. And hopeless crushes. Aaron really liked Alexander Hamilton; he was hot, and popular—no matter how much he despised Alex on the outside, he always would love him. And James? He had a limerence with his best friend, Thomas Jefferson, somehow. Aaron always found it to be ludicrous because Thomas was an asshole! After all, he was bad guy, he's manipulated people, was reckless, and was too ambitious; even more so than Alexander. He's even hit James before, like an abusive husband. Yet, James was a masochist—he never quite cared about the pain because it was Thomas doing it. So, they'd help each other.
