She managed a distracted "Mm-hm," because honestly, she didn't know if Seyka was challenging her or complimenting her, and right then, she didn't care. The only thing that mattered was the thrill that rushed up her spine as the grip around her waist tightened with every push and pull of her hips.
A hand reached up, fingers cradling Aloy's jaw, thumb resting beneath her chin. Blunt teeth nipped at Aloy's lip as she was pushed back the barest inch.

For the next eight weeks, we are talking about King Nicolò II of Genoa and Prince Yusuf ibn Ibrahim Al-Kaysani, because apparently I enjoy pain, footnotes, and watching historians perform interpretive gymnastics around the word “husband.”
