Simon's only been here, Erid(wherever that is because he's not quite ready to believe its a planet yet), for about 2 months, though only 3 weeks of that has been somewhat conscious. He doesn't trust Grace or Rocky by any stretch of the word, not even sure he's convinced those are their real names. And yet, seeing the usually cheerful, compassionate, and unnervingly trusting scientist so afraid had felt like a cold dead weight in his stomach. The alien—Grace—is finally asleep. Or, at least, Rocky thinks he is. He’s curled on his side, tucked away under a covering. Rocky sits on the other side of the alcove the human lies in, fiddling away with one of his many repair projects. Typically, watching another as they sleep is fairly straightforward and uneventful. Not much is needed beyond something to do and to keep a lookout for whoever’s resting.
But Rocky can’t help but focus more on Grace as he rests. He just can’t; the way the human sleeps is, quite literally, otherworldly.

Breathing became a chore whenever he looked at Fluixon and Thomas, both of them so mesmerisingly beautiful, Saparata wanted nothing more than to look at them forever. It was a shame he couldn't, especially in the dark of the living room, the moon the only light source. It illuminated the scene in front of him, blue light throwing shadows across their skin as they kissed. Soon, Saparata would walk over and join them, uncaring of the way their mouths were tinted red, teeth glinting dangerously.
It must be his mind playing tricks on him. The same way he imagined their skin to be just a bit too cold, their heartbeats a little too slow. It was nothing, just Saparata's paranoia. Surely.

“Your armour. I mean-your chestplate. The broken part at least.” Will started to pink slightly at the cheeks.
Mike nodded at the request and started to try pull the chest peace over his head. He started to struggle, the pain in his arm a dull ache stopping him from making any more movements.
“Let me.” A hushed voice escaped Will, who was already by the side of him, fingers reaching under the armour. Warm fingers just grazing Mike’s skin as he lifted and the tunic rose slightly to reveal the lower part of his stomach. A rush of warm ran through Mike’s body at the slight touch.
All that be heard in the room was their breathing.
