“Kit,” he heard Ty say softly. “Can I touch you?”
Kit was too tired to force himself to go against what he really wanted. Instead, he simply nodded. In a moment, he felt the warmth of Ty’s long and slender fingers against his left cheek. He wanted to cry. Ty gently held his palm against Kit’s cheek as he detangled the matted hair that were falling on his forehead, moving them upwards and to the side.
“Please tell me why you‘re angry,” Ty whispered. “I want to listen. I want to know.”
Tears built up behind Kit’s eyes, the last two days finally catching up with him. He was glad Anush wasn’t around, because there were only two people he was comfortable with being seen like this by, and one of them was holding his cheek as if he were something precious.
Kit kept his eyes shut. “It’s too much.”

This is basically a plight for someone to help me find this malec fic that I read a few years back. It was the most amazing piece of angst I ever read and i want it pleaseeee.
The story basically goes that there's a demon pox outbreak which only warlords can heal but the clave and the underworld have been completely cut off. Alec is the head of the institute and he sends magnus a fire message saying he'll give him an unclaimed omega in exchange. Magnus accepts the deals basically to save the poor omega only to later realise alec was the very omega. Its filled with a shit done of angst and misunderstanding at the start and made me sob for hours so pleaseeeee I beg you help me find it.

The first week had been... rough. They were both stubborn, with completely different work ethics, which had left its mark on their first days together. On top of that, Magnus was still upset about having cut his vacation short.
They started with easy jobs - like the occasional drunk who thought urinating in a public fountain was a protest against capitalism. Magnus breezed through the days with detours into half the bars and cafés in the borough, calling them "informant check-ins." Alec called them "wasting police resources" under his breath.The second week was a tiny bit better.
By the third week, they even laughed.

There in episode 7 Benedict Bridgerton is curious about Sir Granville and his lifestyle, where he is married to a woman but is in a secret relationship with a man.
Sir Granville's reply above is something that got stuck with me.
As you can guess, I started to ask myself how would Malec fit into this concept and how would they get their happy ending in the time when people like them were discriminated. And as I am a bit of history nerd, I wrote the story along with actual historical events in 1800's. The Bridgerton is setting only the time period and the life of the nobility in Great Britain. The Shadowhunters gave me the characters. All the other things are my own au story.And so we got Alec as a lord Lightwood and Magnus as a mens' tailor.
