Katia Managan is trying to escape from a perilous situation! For this reason, she attempts to use whatever is in her power to do so... Only, things don't go exactly as planned.
This is a bit of an experimental idea. Simply put, I had thought for some time, that with people in the Re:Zero fandom giving writing prompts all the time like 'What if Subaru was in X franchise instead?', why not turn it on its head, and replace Subaru? Only, who would really fit into Re:Zero without breaking the entire concept? Well, why not someone else who tried to start their life from zero in another town? Someone who isn't powerful enough to break the whole story, but who has interesting quirks to add?
So, how does this work? Is this a normal fic? Nope!
Instead, I will be taking the Kazerad approach to writing this fic, so 1) update when I want/have some extra time, 2) keep it relatively short and sweet and finally 3) continue by trying to incorporate comments on past chapters into the future!
How does that work? Well, for the most part exactly like Prequel!
You leave a comment, and then if I decide to use the comment, you get a fancy cameo in a future chapter as a voice in Katia's head!

Summary
2nd story in the Spyjirra trilogy. Based (very) loosely on the James Bond movie of similar name. Introduction of two new characters - an Argonian named Wears-Only-Ropes and a male Khajiit with an odd problem. The setting is a time in which magic is fading in the Elder Scrolls universe and technology is advancing rapidly with its decline in certain areas. Ra'Jirra is an intelligence agent for Elsweyr while Hammerfell and Cyrodiil are at constant odds with each other - roughly analogous to the US and USSR during the cold war. I think of it as something of a Steampunk Elder Scrolls.
I've got audio recordings of me reading about half the chapters so far. Still working on completing them. (If it was just straightforward reading, that would be easy, but because I suck as a voice actor I like to do pitch-shifts for characters and some light effects too, so they take a while)
I've also got a few commissions for images from this story that I'll embed where appropriate.
The character of Ra'Jirra is VERY loosely based on Prequel Adventure's side character Rajirra.

Summary
This story takes place immediately after the end of Kazerad's side-game named Saturalia Nightmare ( https://www.prequeladventure.com/this/nightmare/ ) and the day before the sidestory "Quill-Weave: Take Control of the Situation" ( https://www.prequeladventure.com/quill-weave-take-control-of-the-situation/ ) . The artwork was all drawn by KuroNeko and colored/shaded by me.
A quick summation - Quill-Weave has been visited nightly by Vaermina, Daedric prince of nightmares. At the end, she is inspired to take control of her life, take risks and pursue her ambitions. That's enough to grasp the story.
This is sort of a road-trip as Quill-Weave takes one of her routine excursions to Chorrol to visit her friend and lover Casta Scribonia, with a special surprise for Casta. However, Casta also has a surprise for Quill. Illustrated by KuroNeko (and me doing the colors/shading!) It is also unabashedly lewd - but not pornographic.

Summary
This is the first of what became a trilogy I call the Spyjirra trilogy. The first, of course, was originally intended as a one-off. It's set it a sort of steampunkish future Elder Scrolls universe with the main protagonist loosely based on a Khajiit side character from Prequel Adventure named Rajirra. To call it a fanfic of Prequel though is really pushing it. However, I think the three are my best stories yet, and surprisingly they don't actually revolve around sex! Knowledge of Prequel Adventure definitely not required. Knowledge of Elder Scrolls universe though is probably helpful so you know what a Khajiit and Argonian are, etc.
Each takes it's cues from the James Bond movies of similar name, but rapidly go their own direction. They are, though, primarily about the Elsweyr spy Rajirra. And it all started with a single image that Kazerad (author of Prequel Adventure) drew as a commission from Sashimi during one of his streams. I've since had images commissioned and donated for the series. It is complete, but just now moving it over here to AO3.
I also did audio recordings of all of this first story, and about 1/2 way through doing them for the 2nd of the 3. You'll find links at the bottom of each chapter.
