Another thing: only crimes in game and by a human were processed as crimes; a murder or attempted murder sent you to the “Motive of the Dead: Prison” aka the “Murderer's Prison”. Yes, Monokuma came up with the name. Somehow, they had all ended up here after they died. Some of them knew each other, some didn't. But one thought lingered on each of their minds: maybe, just maybe, this prison escape game was punishment for their evil deeds.
