Pomni wants to save Jax from abstraction. But is that even possible? She misses Jax so much... And she entered the rabbit's mind, which had to be some place in the circus, right?
Pomni and Caine will try to find a way to take Jax back to the circus and maybe find a cure to all abstracted people.
This is a fic in which I epxlore the possibility of de-abstraction and the nature of the Circus and Caine. I loved the ending and I wouldn't want them to change it for anything else. Buuuut I'm a big fan who wants to explore the possibilities after that amazing finale. This is a post-canon fic where everything that was shown in the show has happened, but maybe some of my interpretations differ from others. And one last thing, Jax's pronouns will vary depending of context.

Are you… you’re turning into your father?” he asked, and his jaws clenched. “What? Am I not good enough for you now? Do I need to bite harder?”
As though Qiu’s words were daggers digging into his heart, Cheng made a soft sound and shook his head, “You’re the only one who…,” he started talking then stopped. “You’re better than anyone…,” he said, more silently now. “Better than everyone else…,” he added and looked at Qiu.
Listening, Qiu blinked a little confused, trying to understand those words. He reached out and wrapped one arm around his shoulders, pulling him into a hug, “Did your father say something to you again?” he asked, and Cheng’s heart sank a little. No, his father had said nothing this time, but this was a good chance to dig himself out from that hole.
“I’m sorry…,” Cheng said and lowered his head, resting his forehead on Qiu’s shoulder. “I panicked…,”
“You never panic,” Qiu silently snorted. “It must have been bad…,” he added silently.
