Summary
Based on ideas by Dr. Tempo. Set two years prior to Boy Meets Girl Meets Metahuman. Cast out of her own universe at the end of Gold Morning in the wake of Scion's suicide, a critically-wounded Taylor Hebert is rescued by an immortal guardian from another multiverse, one of many in his home reality who has more than enough reasons to hate the Entities as a whole. Given another chance at life in a similar yet different Brockton Bay with the help of her saviour's local allies, Taylor finds herself at a crossroads. She has her powers back as Skitter and is ready to get back into the game again...but then another option is handed to her.
One that will teach her the maxim of not leaving fights unfinished.

Summary
For many years, the Gashleycrumb House in London served as one of the last orphanages in the United Kingdom. In recent times, children have died and disappeared due to many unexplained reasons as the staff moved to hush up any reports to continue to embezzle the government of social assistance funds. Unknown to all within the halls of the old manor home save its owner, the nimmib elder brother of the infamous Lestrange siblings serving Voldemort, many children were taken away to become slaves of the Death Eaters and other pureblood fanatics throughout Britain.
Such could have gone on forever even with the destruction of Voldemort at the hands of his other-self Thérèse Peverell (the Thaumaturge)...save for the fact that the daughter of Sweet Valley's second-richest family had vacationed in Oxford the previous summer, meeting two of the Gashleycrumb orphans.
Naturally, the current incarnation of the Living Nuclear Reaction gave those two girls a certain offer.
They took it...
...and unleashed a large wing of the Unending League of Super-Soldiers on Britain!
