Summary
An accident on Highway 305 draws the attention of five fire stations and medics from Cedars-Sinai (118, 105, 145, 136, and 154). Newly reinstated Evan Buckley (after the lawsuit) returns to the scene, and as the teams are being formed, IC Chief Williams realizes she has a problem.
She has 6 men named Evan, and when you call one, they all respond.
OR: Evan "Buck" Buckley reunites with five former classmates and 118 discovers things they might never have known about their fellow firefighter.

Summary
So, this is a mashup between Heated Rivalry and the NHL and 9-1-1. It doesn't really follow canon in either direction so suspend belief. Wholly inaccurate, highly unlikely, written because my muse is beating me mercilessly.
Also, Buck is erudite. Trust me.
If they're speaking Russian I've tried to italicize it for clarity.
This was inspired by /works/27243244 Evan Buckley aka The Machine. Read it, it's hilarious. I took the Russian background for Buck and twisted it for this story, the barest *kiss* so that my 'mash mash mash' together would run smoothly. In other news, vodka IS made from potatoes.
Last note-Ilya's costume was inspired by my first hockey player I ever adored, the American legend, #88 Patrick Kane and his legendary All Star goal shot dressed as Superman.Bookmarked by Ali_cat

He couldn't understand what was going on. He'd moved back from El paso 3 months ago, and his relationship with his bestfriend had kind of died. They still spent time together, they talked. But they didn't feel like buckandeddie any more. Did him going to El paso break them or was it the fight in the kitchen. He hadn't even seen Buck's new place, no one had. They still worked together but he was now with Hen and Buck was with Ravi. But they barely spoke at work, Buck was constantly traveling on their days off. He was constantly watching hockey and if anyone interupted him without it being a call he would get snappy

“She’s not an object.” Buck argued, jumping when Doug slapped his hand on the wall by his face. “Sh- she’s not a po- possession.”
“She’s mine.” Doug growled. “You clearly need a reminder.”
“Ho- how did you f- find me?” Buck asked, swallowing thickly.
“It’s almost cute that neither you or Maddie thought I would have a tracker in her car.” Doug grinned wickedly. “I gave her a reminder about why she shouldn’t cross me. Now I’m here to give you one.”
“Wh-” Buck grunted from the fist that was punched into his stomach, dropping him to his knees.

When Buck takes off after Maddie gives him her keys, he stops in Virginia Beach to think about his next move. He didn't expect Doug to follow him, or find him. He doesn't expect be thinking he didn't want to die at 18 in a random motel room because his brother-in-law wanted him out of the way. When he somehow survives, he runs. He runs for years before finally feeling safe and loved and ready to just live again.

Buck nodded, “Yep, and there’s like, a bank heist happening or something. But that’s Athena’s problem, me and Bobby are just having fun.”
Eddie laughed loudly, “Now, you going on an accidental cruise I get, but Athena and Bobby? That’s not what I expected. But, hey, at least it’s Athena dealing with the heist this time and not you getting framed for it.”
“Excuse me, you also got framed, don’t pin that all on me.”
