Finally free from his Raccoon City Syndrome, Leon S. Kennedy decided it was time for a quick road trip back to Raccoon City with his wife, Ada—partly for a nostalgic date, and partly to recover his lost Porsche. But the moment they pushed open the main doors of the RPD, Ada vanished into thin air, leaving him standing all by himself in the RPD underground parking lot. Oh, and the year was suddenly 1998.
In there, Leon runs into a 24-year-old Ada. She highly suspects him since he seems to know her too well. But looking at this young, almost cute version of her, Leon is already set: he’s going to protect this stubborn young spy without letting her get a single scratch—whether she likes it or not.

Suddenly, just like that, whatever argument they had months earlier was easily forgotten, easily forgiven. Neither of them had enough self-control to hold a grudge for that long, anyway. Their infatuation was too profound for all that, and they'd spend six years going back and forth, always trying to leave one another before they inevitably returned to where they started. Ada wondered how long it could continue this way. How long before he fell in love with someone else and she became a stranger in his eyes? Sometimes, that thought frightened her more than the world finding out about their entanglement, more than Leon being tortured by the government for shielding an enemy, or more than the hidden societies of bioterrorism deciding she should be dealt with.
There was nothing she feared the most.
Or: Leon and Ada during one of their many (steamy) encounters after months apart. She's jealous, and she'll show him just how much.

“Who are you?” She could barely hear her own words as he gave her a gentle smile, the one which reminded her of 1998 when he had saved her and refused to let her go alone. But it was somehow more affectionate if it was even possible.
No, Leon did not look at her like that. Not anymore.
“You know who I am, Ada. I am just not from around here…” he shook his head, trying his best to explain himself.
Or, after a job leaves Ada injured, she runs into Leon in the middle of nowhere, except this version of him is nothing like the man she remembers from Spain.
