Summary
Just us, his mother had told him, From now on, it's going to be just us.
Midoriya Izuku didn't understand a lot growing up. He didn't know why Mommy and Daddy yelled a lot. Or why his friends were always so mean to him. But he did know this: he wanted to be a hero- like All Might. He wanted to save people. He wanted to make people smile.
But most of all, he wanted to make his mother smile again. He wanted to be her hero. Izuku was determined to do so- he knew he could do so- but he never knew how hard it was going to be.

Kids are being kidnapped and quirks are being stolen and Izuku is next on the list. Entrusted into the protection of a man who really looks like he'd rather be dead than awake, Izuku has to learn how to survive in a world that truly wants to get him. It's a good thing Izuku is well established in the arts of life shitting on him so really, the threat of some notorious quirk trafficking ring isn't really the worst thing he's dealt with by himself.
