His head was so confused, how could Kristin treat their child so cruelly… But Philza didn't know how humans raised their children, he could just figure it out from what his instincts told him to do. “Have we done this before?” Olruggio’s question is muffled from where he’s made himself comfortable. He absently traces patterns onto Qifrey’s skin, unable to stay still.
“Which part?” Qifrey stretches his arms out in front of him, fighting against the branches making his joints stiff. He pointedly ignores the ivy that crawls up his wrists.

“Do you know why the rule about apprentices being able to choose their own master came about?” Master Qifrey said at last, turning to look down at her. He pulled a comb out of his pocket and gestured for her to shift closer. She turned so he could begin very very gently teasing out the knots in her hair as he spoke.
Qifrey caused a lot of trouble during his time as an apprentice in the Great Hall. Not all of it was intentional however. When Beldaruit falls ill, Qifrey is told he cannot stay alone, and a new master will have to be found for him.

It cannot be said that Qifrey the witch lives a particularly boring or even safe life, especially with all of the recent stress and chaos of the silvereve festival with the wyrm, and the knights moralis, and the brimhats. But by the accursed brims themselves, by the pointed caps and the wise, by the silverwood, the source of both his magic and anguish, this day is rapidly steering towards a very hellish week, one that Qifrey really doesn’t need right now.
Qifrey is in heat, he is not supposed to be in heat, but he is, and all he wants is for Olruggio to come and hold him, scent him, make it better. But Olruggio cannot hold him, and Qifrey know this.
