Summary
Because their Personas have taken to family planning without their say so, Ren and Goro are being kicked out of their apartment. Naturally, that means they should take the next step and buy a house.
Two problems: one, somehow they end up being cast in in an episode of House Hunters Japan for diversity points and two, despite years of Ren's wishful thinking, he and Goro are not even together.
Surely this will work out.

“Come on, Ren-kun,” Yukari nudges Ren as he slumps. “I dove into being Pink Argus with little experience myself, and I haven’t regretted it since. Maybe you’ll feel the same.”
Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.

"Our plan was to use Sae's palace," Akira says. "We'd pull you into the Metaverse and let you kill her cognition of me in the interrogation room."
Was. It's useless now that Akechi knows, but Akira smiles as he speaks. He's cornered himself, mate in one, but it won't be the first time he's died. At worst he'll restart his probation again, back in April.
At best, they'll move to step two of his real plan, tearing apart Shido's conspiracy one crooked heart at a time until Akechi is as free as his past allows and resoundingly not dead. It'd be easy to resent the world for demanding Akira save it, but at least it's had the decency to let him save his friends along the way. All of them, even the one who only makes the job harder.

He asks, tilting his head slightly.
"I don’t feel like drinking right now."
Akechi hums, resting a hand under his chin for a few seconds before pushing the glass toward him carefully enough not to spill the contents, looking at him with a sly smile.
"Try mine."
Akira looks at the drink and then at Akechi, and the latter feels the need to clarify: "I think you’d like it."
Akira nods, taking the glass. He holds the straw steady with one finger so it doesn’t smack him in the nose and takes a sip.. then sets the glass back down, sliding it toward its owner again.
"You were right."

Maruki holds the world in the palm of his hand and Akira's struggling to recognize what's right and what's wrong. Things can't get any worse, but at least he has his little refuge: the thieves den. How long before that stops feeling safe?
