Geto Suguru is dead at his hands. The night parade of a hundred demons has been thwarted, and victory is in the hands of Jujustu Sorcerers once more. Rika is freed of her curse, Okkotsu Yuuta's execution has been finally rescinded.
But Geto Suguru is dead.
And Gojo Satoru killed him.
Megumi's ocean blue eyes had careened toward Satoru, standing in their living room with his soiled boots on and cuts on his knuckles because of Miguel's whip. He had a bowl in one hand, and a gallon of milk in the other. Satoru is sure he's going to eat cereal because why wouldn't he? He's home, in the home Satoru placed him in. The home he never got to have because Zen'in Toji was a piece of shit and so was Tsumiki's mother and because Satoru killed him—
"Okay." Megumi says.

If you asked Yuuji how he ended up here, he could not —and would not— be able to tell you.
Maybe it started from the moment Sukuna had physically touched his heart, then remade it, placed back in his chest like the cog for a clock. Or perhaps it was with each finger eaten, where a little more of Sukuna became Yuuji (or maybe it was where a little more of Yuuji became Sukuna, it depended on which one you asked). Maybe, there wasn't anything exceptional to it all, in spite of their rather special circumstances, and it was just a thing that happened.
Point is, don't ask Yuuji, he doesn't know.
