Shen Jiu’s body froze instinctively as he readied himself for a blow.
But it never came, because when Shen Jiu managed to look up, all he could see was a man’s broad back swathed in black robes, his grip tight around Qiu Jianluo’s wrist.
“Qiu-gongzi, what could ever make you think that a charlatan like me wouldn’t want this boy as his disciple?”

“Stupid Mingzhi…” Shen Yuan felt nauseous and dizzy, he leaned against him for support. “Why did you touch it…” Liu Qingge didn’t respond. Shen Yuan looked up and saw his look of horror as he gazed down at the flower.
Shen Yuan looked down at the now-blooming flower, and in its center, a baby.Or, Shen Yuan and Liu Qingge accidentally acquire a peak lord for a baby and watch their relationship bloom, and Shen Jiu manages to find happiness in the process.

Surely it couldn't get worse even if he was being presented to some new and upcoming demonic warlord as tribute after all it would all be mote when Luo Binghe escaped the Endless Abyss right? Well... unless the demonic warlord in question WAS Luo Binghe.
Thankfully... it might not end up going at all how he, or the demons, thought it was going to.
