Summary
Nothing about the small cell of rock and metal is comfortable, but Rumi rests her head against the wall and resists the urge to lay a hand on Jinu’s face. He’s quiet, but not dead. Gwi-Ma can’t kill his leverage, but Rumi doesn’t like the alternative any more.
It’s no surprise that the demon king has a deal for her: break the Honmoon she worked so hard to create, or Jinu suffers. There is no good choice, no winning here. Jinu however, insisted on which she should choose. To hold firm, no matter what he does to him. Said that Gwi-Ma would do so much worse if she gave him a path to the surface.
She knows he’s right. It doesn’t make it any easier.
Rumi doesn’t think she’ll ever get his screams out of her head.
(Or Gwi-Ma wants Rumi to use her power to break the Honmoon. If threat of torture won’t sway her resolve, maybe it will if it’s Jinu. However, no matter what happens, Jinu continuously tells her to be strong and hold out.
Rumi doesn’t know how much longer she can last.)

Summary
Jinu blinks slowly at her. It almost reminds her of a cat. When he opens his mouth, his teeth look sharper. “You shouldn’t be here.” He says.
Again, her heart drops. “I know.” She croaks out, suddenly feeling so very fragile again. “But the Honmoon rejected me. My friends turned against me. I have no one— nothing, now. And it’s what I deserve. You were right. Demons like us just… Get to live with our pain.”
“…No.” Jinu says slowly, taking another step forward. That power, Rumi realizes, it’s coming from him. But he’s never had power like that before— how did he get it? “No, Rumi, I mean you shouldn’t be here. This world— it isn’t yours. How did you get here?”
(Or Rumi leaves the Idol Awards broken and betrayed. What’s left of her Honmoon brings her to another world where the Honmoon did turn golden, but they were not better off for it. Despite the bleakness of this future, it may give her the answers, and clarity, she needs to fix her own.)

Summary
Baby with his unfair natural beauty, with his sharp tongue and decisive attitude, with his stubbornness and his overprotective behaviors, and with his rings. Romance’s rings, on his fingers, always there. Silver, sturdy, practical, gifted.
Anyone who knows Baby knows he doesn’t really do much with his appearance. Occasionally a haircut but that’s about it. The rings are an outlier— a sign of something else. Of care, of beauty, of Romance himself.
Romance wears a ring around his finger as well. Daintier, prettier, but also silver in color. Not quite matching, but matching enough.
He wonders, sometimes, if anyone else notices. Then catches himself, turns the question of why that matters on himself, and finds his answer.

Summary
As quickly as he can currently handle, Jinu reassesses his situation with the new information in mind. He discovers three things he didn’t fully realize before.
One, something is definitely broken. Probably a rib, or three, or five. His ribcage feels like it’s screaming at him for so much as trying to breathe.
Two, that hit might’ve killed him if he weren’t a demon, or at least done a lot more damage. But Jinu is pretty sure he’s not actively dying so, at least he’s got that going for him.
And three, his disguise is still up. Jinu is particularly happy about that one. Getting hit by a car isn’t fun regardless but at least he doesn’t have to deal with headlines like, ‘Jinu of the Saja Boys: Hospitalized after taking a bad hit from a speeding car! Saja Boys fans are out for blood!’
(Or Jinu gets hit by a car. He tries to sleep it off. Huntrix keeps making a big deal out of it though.)

Summary
The aftermath of the Idol Awards leaves Rumi exhausted, but her sorrow over losing Jinu is short-lived when she discovers not all of him is gone.
Rumi has many heart-to-hearts with her friends, gets her demon not-yet-boyfriend back, and starts discovering all the new powers she has due to being half demon and half hunter. But she’s not the only one changing.
Mira and Zoey get used to the new normal with a new Honmoon and what it all means for them as hunters, as well as the new face among them. Jinu seeks to redeem himself in their eyes but the weight of guilt due to his actions is not an easy hurdle to jump.
Their well deserved rest will not last forever. Between the demons stuck on this side of the Honmoon and those trapped on the other, including those Jinu cares about, they must decide what course of action they want to take and deal with whatever consequences it brings.
Gwi-Ma might’ve been banished to the other side of the new Honmoon but he is not one to go down quietly.
(Or in the aftermath of Gwi-Ma’s defeat, Rumi discovers that Jinu’s soul, albeit weak, is still sticking around. She keeps what remains of him safe, causing a ripple effect that will change things for the better.)
