Aban remained silent, awaiting the scientist's reaction. He was already devising a plan B to learn to dance through YouTube tutorials when Ivo let out an indignant sound.
“Lessons? With some random teacher you probably found in an ad stuck to some lamppost on a dirty street? No way!” Ivo exclaimed. “I’ll teach you to waltz myself. Come to my house on Saturday and I’ll teach you how to move your feet correctly.”

Summary
Stone woke up in the morning with the feeling that he was being watched. Opening his eyes slowly, Stone took a moment to understand what he was seeing. In front of him were two almost identical children, no older than eight years old, a boy and a girl, both with dark red hair and brown eyes, wearing robot-themed pajamas, and staring at him.
After taking an extremely drunk Ivo Robotnik home one night, Stone wakes up in the morning to find two mysterious children staring at him, claiming to be the doctor's children.

As much as Robotnik would love to believe otherwise, being raised in a catholic orphanage had certainly had an impact on the way he functioned. He could still hear Sister Mary’s voice in his head chastising him every time he dared not to wash his hands before eating, reminding him to make his bed every day in the morning.
It went beyond simple everyday habits, too. Despite not believing in a God, he still often found himself reciting the books of The Bible by memory in moments of stress or anxiety. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy… On and on he would go, until he had managed to calm himself down.
Alternatively: Robotnik feels a lot of internalized homophobia and Catholic guilt. Eventually he manages to figure it out with the help of Agent Stone.

Soulmates were two halves of a whole, so they said. Whether this was by Grace of God or some other otherworldly power, or simply some odd genetic condition that predisposed two bodies to lock together in a quantum state, he couldn't say. Nor would he pretend to care.
Because as it is, it all feels like a cosmic joke at his expense.
