Because so far, Obi-Wan had surprised him.
The artist had focused on the sharp of his Adam’s apple, the muscularity of his back, the sullen scowl of his brow. Anakin didn’t know what he’d expected, unsure what about him would be defined as beautiful or interesting. He knew, faintly, that he was considered attractive, and that the artist was too, but if he analysed it, he came up empty.
With the belt off, his jeans fell to the ground.
Or, Obi-Wan is an artist who finds his muse.

Anakin made a noise that sounded distinctly like a 'whoop'. "We're going after Count Dooku, boys!" Obi-Wan heard him say to the men on his transport, to a chorus of cheers. "I love today!" he told Obi-Wan again. Obi-Wan just chuckled and hung up on him.
Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka conduct a little experiment in chaos theory - and end up sowing a lot of actual chaos in the process.
Story starts during The Wrong Jedi, and revisits most of the events of Revenge of the Sith. Ahsoka still leaves the Jedi Order, but this time, Anakin and Obi-Wan go with her. Together, they change the course not only of the galaxy, but their own destinies, as well.

1 - he who walks the sky. The set up of this whole affair
2 - words in the heart (are the only thing which cannot be taken). A folktale origin story of Anakin Skywalker.
3 - a dry day on kamino. Anakin lands on kamino right around the Clone production kicks off.
4 & 5 are going to be a crossover and Anakin visiting Grogu, respectively, but I'm fairly strict with myself on writing one at a time or I'll never finish it. I do take ideas for places for Ani to visit.
