Summary
“Hm,” Kokichi’s face appeared about an inch away from hers, his eyes narrowed just the slightest bit. Startled, Himiko jolted back, releasing the chains on either side of her and nearly falling backwards into the woodchips.
Kokichi extended an arm though, and he caught her before she fell, a freakishly warm hand cradling the small of her back. His eyes crinkled.
“Lemme walk you outta here, Himi-Himi-Himiko,” he suggested in a low voice. (Scratch that, he was tenor for sure.) Himiko swallowed, trying to ignore the proximity, and the dawning feeling that all of a sudden autumn wasn’t all that cold anymore, not in the slightest. “This is no place for a girl with such sad eyes, y’know?”

All Himiko knew about Kokichi Ouma before she met him was that he was the leader of the notoriously disliked Yakuza clan, DICE. She didn't have enough fingers and toes to count all the awful, scary things she was always hearing about the kind of person he was.
And she couldn't get him out of her head.

after being teased about her talent by miu iruma, himiko yumeno felt awful. she didn't want anyone to see her cry, so the mage sprinted off to an empty restroom. after hours of crying and self-hatred, her boyfriend, kokichi ouma, stepped up to the plate and helped himiko get some well needed confidence.

Summary
“What’re you prattlin’ on about,” Kaito grumbles a little, reaching out and ruffling Kokichi’s hair with his free (noticeably bare) hand. Kokichi huffs indignantly and ducks his head, and then a broad grin spreads across Kaito’s features. “Good to see you guys too, even if I’m pretty sure I saw you at my sidekick’s last week.”
“Which sidekick?” Kokichi asks, all innocent-like, as if he doesn’t know exactly what it is that Kaito is talking about.
Kaito rolls his eyes, and Himiko feels her lip curling. Things were pretty awkward between the two of them when they all got out of the simulation, which was… to be expected, Himiko thinks. There was a time when people were sure they weren’t ever actually going to talk about what had happened, and Himiko certainly wasn’t going to force Kokichi, who admitted once in the dark that sometimes he walked into a room expecting neon pink blood to be dripping down Kaito’s chin, but while time doesn’t necessarily heal all wounds, they… talked it out eventually.
It would’ve been hard to go on like that, when their girlfriends are so close, anyway.
