"You use reiatsu to see your way around, don't you, Kurosaki-san?" is what makes Ichigo pause before he can trail after Rukia from this shop she's taken them to.
Something brushes against his senses that causes Zangetsu to snarl viciously in the back of Ichigo's mind. The reiatsu is a light press against his own, like fingers poking something curious and new.
Ichigo hums as he turns to where the source is from. Knows it to belong to the shopkeeper.
Urahara Kisuke.
"You noticed fast," Ichigo replies easily. No point in denying it.

Everybody knew about the 12th’s lieutenant. The man who had held the position for near a hundred years, and adamantly refused to become a captain. He was the subject of much gossip in the Gotei 13. After all, he made quite the striking figure. Wild orange hair, a permanent scowl, and power that clung tightly to his skin, it really was not an exaggeration that everyone knew him, or at the least, knew about him.
Everyone, it seemed but Urahara Kisuke himself.
The very same Urahara Kisuke who as of today was the captain of the 12th.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that winter in Gotham sucks ass. That being said, there’s something particularly nasty about this year’s temperatures. It’s so cold that the river has frozen solid for the first time in two centuries. Jason is pretty sure that he can’t be blamed for seeking refuge in the only warm and comfortable place in the city.
