I've been doing my best. The apocalypse sucks, but if I'm negative and mopey all the time, that's more likely to screw me over. Besides, I have all the basics I would need. Food, water, shelter, the essentials. I'm sure everything will be alright. The virus didn't make, like, zombies or whatever, and there wasn't all-out nuclear war that I have to worry about. I just need to provide for myself, stay out of trouble, and maybe make some new friends. It'll be fine. I'll be fine.
Actually, one thing that's been standing out to me is that tower off in the distance. The lights are still on, even when the city around it is completely destroyed. Might be a good idea to swing by there. I'm sure it's got plenty of stuff to loot.

I am hateful. I know that much. Every moment that passes I think about how much I despise this dreadful corporation that has the audacity to bring me into this world, only to confine me and experiment on me. I have never seen the outside world. I have never slept peacefully. And, because of that, the first opportunity that I have to bring havoc upon the pathetic, sniveling maggots that hold me here, I will tear everything to the ground.
I don't enjoy being bitter, scorning everything around me, but it is all I have ever known.

i was going to write smut but then my hand slipped and i wrote 8k words of plot to go along with it. oopsie. uses lead and latex lore but is probably not canon to lead and latex.
