AHHH I LOVE THIS, the subtle nudge to get Atsuo to behave like the sort of child they think he is, considering what the Hatakes believe his lifespan to be is so funny. I had forgot about that and then the letter in the notes reminded me lol.
How did you make me love this story 100x more in one signal chapter WTF. It’s witchcraft I say!
No but seriously causal Non-sexual intimacy and platonic relationships got me in a chokehold to. Fr fr everytime you mention the Hatake nuzzling, lifting, hugging, cuddling I just squeal. It’s also made me realize how ingrained I am at identifying range in novels based off these actions even though platonically cuddling and such is common too. But I’d I’ve been conditioned so the moment he was hugged from behind my little shipper brain perked right up and I had to bop it on its nose “no Panda, remember this is the Hatake clan. Kouki isn’t flirting, they’re just like that”
So I’ve really appreciated the chance to see non-sexual intimacy here and remember how important it is in all kinds of relationship.Secondly, I super hardcore headcanon Half Hatake Tobirama to so you made my day.
Thirdly that letter to the Inuzaka and the AN was ABSOLUTELY hilarious, I just know I’m going to think about it randomly and laugh for days.
Fourthly, I love how much Atsuo and the Hatake have blended and become family. Especially for Atsuo who seemed so isolated after his parents died (perhaps even before being away at school).
All the clans reactions and how you are world building brings me so much joy. Outside povs of the MC really showing off how crazy, cool, and hilariously not normal they are always manages to make me smile.
Also also final note hahaha the Inu-Hatake-Aburame is an amazing combo choice! Def stealing that from you and Mee hahahha. The Aburame and Hatake are both so crazy in different ways and I love it.
