If he said yes,there was the potential that the entire faction would find out and he will be seen as even more of a traitor than Starscream.
He could imagine it.
Megatron shrieking at him all sorts of profanities,throwing objects or maybe even punches at him. He would most likely be kept around only because of how useful he was to the cause,but even then Megatron would never treat him the same.
If he said no,however,he would have to see the Prime's hurt optics whenever they were on the battlefield.
