Summary
'Agents Emily Prentiss and Spencer Reid are the latest victims in a long line of what authorities are only now admitting could be serial abductions ranging back over a decade. Dubbing the abductor 'The Ghost', the only thing authorities seem to be able to agree on is this: no victims have yet been recovered.'
For Aaron Hotchner, it was his worst fear come to life. Forced to work alongside Jason Gideon and the human members of the elite BAU, Aaron and what remained of his pack found themselves fighting against everything they'd ever stood for in order to bring their people home.
For the missing agents, it was life shattering. Trapped almost four thousand miles away and forced into betrayal by their captors, a desperate flight into a deadly blizzard made them realize how precarious their grip on survival truly was. But that didn't matter. There was no giving up.
It wasn't only their survival they were fighting for.

Summary
The thing Gandalf neglected to mention when he assured Thorin Oakenshield and Company that Bilbo Baggins of Bag End would be the perfect thief for their mission was this:
A Hobbit wouldn't be able to tell a diamond from a pearl, or from an Arkenstone - no matter how hard they try.
This leads to some confusion, on Bilbos part. And some frustration, again on Bilbos part.
(What sort of a description was 'heart of the mountain', anyway? A useless one, that's what.)

Arkenrocks by Cimila
Opal. It’s an opal.” He grits out, and Bilbo looks it over, considering.
“Nope, pretty sure it’s the Arkenstone.” Bilbo says, nodding at the opal.
“I’m quite sure it’s not.” Thorin says forcefully, and Bilbo, in an agreeable, polite tone that signifies to everyone he’s about three seconds from shouting at them, says,
“Arkenstone. Ta. Da.” He wiggles the rock, and it catches the light nicely.
“It’s quite pretty, I can see why you wanted it.”
“Bilbo. I know what the Arkenstone looks like. That is not the heart of the mountain; it’s an opal.”
“Well, do you think you could give it a bit of a better look? Maybe it is the heart of the mountain, only you’re too busy scowling at me so you can’t see that!”

If Mycroft Holmes lived in a world where people could steal information from the subconsciouses of others, tell me he wouldn't be all over that when he had Moriarty in custody.

Keep the Car Running by earlgreytea68
Brilliant!
From the first chapter I realized how much I *needed* this crossover.
After the third chapter I backed up and started over because I realized I'd regret not taking my time and savoring every word of the first reading.
Everyone's in top form.
Eames and Arthur being sexy/suggestive or pushy/imperious with Mycroft is delicious.
Superb banter. So many delights between Eames & Arthur - bad code words, boulliabase, Arthur's notes, petnames, socks, watching each other sleep, vexing Mycroft, all the teasing
Lovely mutual pining.
Terrifying dreamscape possibilities.
Eames/Arthur/Sherlock/John analyzing each other = priceless! It was the opposite of the way you kissed a person you hated, was the thought that vaguely tried to form in Eames’s head, except that Arthur was busy kissing him in just that way and Eames groaned and destroyed Arthur’s hair and couldn’t even pull enough thought together to kiss him back properly. He was being completely and utterly undone by nothing more complicated than a kiss, but it was all about who was doing the kissing. Eames had known, had always known, that he would be lost forever if he ever let himself have Arthur, and he hadn’t even had him yet and the depths to which he was lost were terrifying. Eames thought he was never going to be able to kiss anyone ever again for the rest of his life, because nobody was ever going to kiss him the way Arthur was kissing him.

Summary
It’s like this dog has walked out of all of Stiles’ childhood dreams and into the real world just because Stiles wanted it hard enough. He is the most awesome dog ever, and he and Stiles have a bond. A deep, unbreakable bond because this animal is his soul mate, obviously. Now he just has to convince the dog of that.

So freaking hilarious!
Derek trapped as "dog" by circumstances taken in by Stiles, who thinks he's finally getting the dog of his dreams...so he buys sqeaky toys....and tennis balls....and a book about obedience training.
The battle of wits between oblivious Stiles and "dog" Derek are truly masterfully done. The author has a real gift for narrative humor. -

Architecture of the Minotaur’s Heart by deathbanjo
Superb
Creepy
RomanticThere’s something alive in Dean’s cabin. He can feel it. Under the floorboards, beneath the stairs that shouldn’t be there, where it’s dark. It beats like a heart. It changes its face in the middle of the night. It feels like it’s reaching out to him, and he has no idea why.
