Summary
proverb - A person who wanders or travels often and at length will not be burdened by attachments such as friends, family, or possessions.
Bdubs has done well for himself, thank you very much! He's got a ship, he's got business, he's got friends! A man needs nothing more in the grand universe.
It's hard being a human in the great beyond; a new species to the intergalactic community means poachers, a black market, and an everpresent danger.
The solution? Simple! Don't be a human.
Obviously, it's not going to be as easy as that. Not when he finds himself joining the crew of the Hermit Craft, not when he learns he's not quite alone.

Summary
Gem’s initial response after the end of the world had been to run, as hard and fast as possible. Drown the fear she'd felt for everyone else in a desperate sprint across the Nether, forgo any guilt she has about leaving False behind; follow her instinctual compass north because there’s nowhere else to go.
It's only two weeks in that Gem finds she's not the only Hermit to escape through this dimension, when she hears screaming in the distance and takes a swift detour to find Xisuma suffering at Ex's hands.

Summary
The Bat family is left reeling after Jason succeeds in taking his own life. Bruce struggles through grief as he grapples with more questions than answers. Then, over a year later, Jason is found miraculously alive inside his tomb. But Jason’s mysterious resurrection isn't the simple blessing it appears to be. For Jason, nothing has changed since the day he died for a second time, and he's still hell bent on ending himself for good. Bruce desperately searches for answers as he contends with how to keep his violently suicidal assassin-trained son from taking his own life once more.

Summary
He heard the yells from outside. Saw the civilian's face turning to ash as they realized they had just given out their positions. The quiet unlatching of something in the distance. The canister dropped in the room and rolled on the ground.
Only when it released Scarecrow's fear gas all over the small, badly ventilated room did he manage to move again.
